Ceramide complex: ceramides are naturally occurring fats that make up the skin barrier. These fats that protect the skin and help retain moisture are depleted with age and by environmental exposures. This complex not only helps strengthen the skin but it also encourages the skin to make its own ceramides. Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid supports collagen production and is responsible for supple, plump skin, but over time it naturally decreases giving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Kaolin clay: a very gentle clay known to purify the skin, remove dirt and impurities and give a very mild exfoliation. INCI: kaolin

Lemon Peel Bioferment extract: is an ingredient derived from fermented lemon peel. It is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) which exfoliate and brighten skin. Lemon peel has potent antioxidant effects. Fermenting the lemon peel enhances the anti-tyrosinase properties meaning that it inhibits tyrosinase enzyme to reduce melanin production at a cellular level. As opposed to synthetic Vitamin C which is often unstable in products, lemon peel bioferment is a powerful natural ingredient to even skin tone, lighten dark spots and reduce hyperpigmentation.
Pumpkin Enzyme Extract: Proteolytic, as effective as glycolic acid (an AHA) in removing top layers of dead skin cells, with no harsh irritation to the skin.
